New Earth Materials is art editions from the studio of Ryan Schneider in collaboration with Dana Balicki.
Partners in life and art for 20 years and based in the high-desert for the last decade, we're creating small-run editions of handmade sculptures and functional/non-functional art objects. Embracing a minimalist yet sensual vibe, we work with earth materials: wood, bronze, gold leaf, clay, stone, and metal. Our human intra-actions (and yours) with the earth materials and our willingness to be changed by them is what puts the "new" in New Earth Materials. Each run is inspired by our work and life in the Mojave desert* and our visions for being alive on the planet at this time.
